Program Overview
The consecutive study programme for the Master's degree in Strategic and International Management is designed for those who have already obtained a first degree, preferably in business studies. The programme is based on practice orientation, a scientific approach and internationality and provides both in form and in content an internationally recognised study programme, which prepares the students for the demands of globalised business. Furthermore, participants have the additional option of completing a semester abroad and even have the possibility of obtaining a double degree. Students are taught in three module clusters: Finance, Controlling, Taxation, Accounting, IT International Management Leadership and Human Resource Development Module cluster one, "Finance, Controlling, Taxation, Accounting, IT", includes the following modules: Strategic and International Financial Management National and International Accounting Corporate Management Instruments Taxation and Accounting IT-Strategies & Digitalisation Management Module cluster two, "International Management", includes the following modules: Strategic Planning International Project Management Strategic Evaluation of Countries Module cluster three, "Leadership and Human Resource Development", includes the following modules: Change Management International Leadership Intercultural Competence Strategic Human Resources Management & Business Ethics Scientific Theory and Research Methodology During the first two semesters, students study in Germany; in the third semester, they can either choose to study business administration management functions at a foreign university or stay in Germany and take an in-depth project seminar in “Market Development and Internationalisation Strategies”.
