In the age of digitisation, with current application areas such as networked and autonomous driving or industry 4.0, the discipline of electronics is essential. The tight integration with computer science, which is the only way to develop complex, highly interactive systems, nowadays provides a breeding ground for more than 80% of innovations in applications such as transport, medicine, telecommunication, automation, and smart homes. A major goal of the study programme "Electronic Engineering" is to prepare students for their professional work as electronics engineers for current and future challenges. In order to achieve this goal, the programme promotes a close fusion of the topics of electronics with computer science and establishes a holistic understanding of system development. The students will learn how to do the following: develop hardware/software prototypes up to the production of printed circuit boards design simple control engineering systems to distributed technical systems / cyber-physical systems model complex system behaviour from requirements to system design and implement these models prototypically engage and interact with human interaction systems both technically and creatively In order to facilitate a direct entry into your career, the study programme "Electronic Engineering" ensures a high practical reference. Academic Admission
