Program Overview

The MSc in Communication and Information Technology at Ulm University offers advanced training in modern communication systems and information technologies with four specialisation tracks: Communications Circuits and Systems, Sensor Circuits and Systems, Communications Engineering, and Intelligent Systems. Academic Admission

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree (minimum three years of study) in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electronics, or a closely related field. The degree must demonstrate basic knowledge in at least six of the following eight areas: Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science/Programming, Signals and Systems, Communications Engineering, Circuit Technology, Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, Semiconductor Technology. Applicants must show above-average academic performance (German grade 2.0 or better) or provide official proof of being in the top 20% of their cohort.

APS Certificate

An APS certificate is required for applicants who have completed their qualifying education in India, China, or Vietnam.
