Master in Chemical Engineering

The programme provides specialisations in Chemical Processing or Applied Chemistry. For the Master's thesis, cooperation with external research institutes or industrial partners is possible. The four-semester Master's degree course thus offers the opportunity to acquire in-depth scientific knowledge combined with practical experience. In addition to three compulsory and nine elective modules, which typically comprise lectures, seminars and labs, a project module has to be completed. The project module consists of three projects of 120 hours each (one laboratory, one literature and one free research topic). A five-month Master's thesis (defence included) completes the programme. With a successfully completed Master's degree, you are qualified for positions in research and development. It is also possible to continue towards doctoral studies.
