In a world where urbanisation is on the rise and sustainability is paramount, the demand for innovative solutions in urban mobility is greater than ever before. The Business Engineering in Urban Mobility programme (BEUM) offers a transformative learning experience to become a leader in one of the most critical and dynamic fields of the 21st century. In particular, the programme focuses on providing conceptual knowledge, methods, and project-based experience in innovating and transforming business models in the context of urban mobility. The programme is interdisciplinary and covers all modes of urban and regional transport for personal travel as well as goods and logistics. The programme provides an understanding of business perspectives in the evolving urban mobility landscape, how to design user-centric and sustainable solutions that enhance the urban mobility experience, and how the power of data can be used to make informed decisions in optimising urban mobility systems and supply chains. Through its interdisciplinary approach, students will be equipped with a comprehensive understanding of technology as well as with extensive competencies in the field of management.

Proof of English Proficiency: The programme only accepts two tests among the internationally recognised tests: IELTS Academic test ( www.ielts.org ): An overall band score of at least 6.5, with no section lower than 6, is required. General training IELTS tests are not accepted. TOEFL Internet-based test, iBT ( www.toefl.org ): A minimum total score of 92 (with writing section 22 and no section lower than 21) is required. The results of your test must be final and still valid at the time of submitting your application. Home-based tests (tests taken at home) are not accepted. English proficiency tests are waived if and only if the applicant completed a degree instructed in English at a university that is physically located in one of the following countries: the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand. Any other situation will not qualify as a waiver case.

Academic Admission
For admission to the BEUM Master's programme, the following academic qualification is required: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Engineering Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering Information Systems Mathematics Physics Statistics Urban Planning Geography Economics To qualify for admission, applicants must complete a Bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS) in a relevant field of studies and provide proof of their English proficiency. The Admissions Committee will decide whether the previous degree is closely related to the subject. A programme will be considered suitable if the subject areas are at least 60 credits in business and economics and technology (i.e. engineering, computer science, mathematics, architecture), and at least 30 credits in business and economics and at least 5 credits in economics (micro- and macroeconomics). Students in their final year of undergraduate studies may receive conditional acceptance and must provide their degree certificate before enrolment. APS Certificate
An APS certificate is required for applicants who have completed their qualifying education in India, China, or Vietnam.
