The Bayreuth Graduate Centre for Cultural Studies, Social Sciences and Humanities (BayKULT) offers the following graduate programmes focusing on different research areas: History, Cultural Encounters, Communicative Construction of Knowledge, Culture and Society, Media Culture and Media Economy, Music and Performance, and Research on Religions. The programmes provide coursework in research methods, knowledge transfer, and teaching. Doctoral candidates are welcome to participate in interdisciplinary seminars. Intensive supervision within these programmes offers additional support. BayKULT is part of the University of Bayreuth Graduate School, a school which fosters excellence through professional training opportunities, financial support and advice on funding opportunities.
