Applied Sustainable Engineering

This degree course trains versatile sustainability engineers who can balance our high-tech society with the needs of an intact environment, help shape technological change in practice, or contribute to research and development. In the first semesters , you will learn important engineering fundamentals and gain an overview of the many aspects of sustainability. At the end of the fourth semester you will choose a specialisation and focus on this from the fifth semester onwards. You can choose between Energy & Building Technology and Production & Plastics Technology. The study of applied sustainable engineering optimally prepares you for your professional life. Depending on the orientation of your studies, you can work in a variety of companies and research institutions in a wide range of industries.
