Program Overview

The Master's programme in Applied Artificial Intelligence (MAAI) will be offered starting in the summer semester of 2026 . It is designed for graduates of the Bachelor's programme in Applied Artificial Intelligence as well as for students from related fields, both nationally and internationally. The programme will be taught in English and offers two main tracks: Application and Research . This allows the MAAI programme to provide both in-depth, practice-oriented training in application development and the opportunity to engage intensively with AI research. The aim of the MAAI is to educate highly qualified professionals capable of applying and advancing AI technologies across various industries. Students will become experts in areas such as machine learning , data analysis , artificial neural networks , and the practical application of AI in sectors such as healthcare , engineering , logistics , business informatics , and software engineering .

Academic Admission

A first degree in computer science, engineering, economics, or a related field of study. Applicants must have earned at least 50 ECTS credits in total across the areas of mathematics , computer science , and artificial intelligence , with a minimum of 10 ECTS credits in each of these three subject areas.

APS Certificate

An APS certificate is required for applicants who have completed their qualifying education in India, China, or Vietnam.
